Indian army launched a new a
pp for their soldiers having features like whats-app. The app called Secure Application For Internet(SAI). It haves the features for messaging comes with support for end-to-end secure voice text and video calling services for Android phones. This app was developed by Colonel Sai Shankar. He is the commanding officer of Signals unit in Rajasthan. He also complimented for developing the app by Rajnath Singh(Defence minister).
The main reason for launching this kind of app for soldiers is to prevent the security information from the intelligence agency of enemy countries. The Indian Army Soldiers were also told to avoid the using of apps like whats-app. They were also asked for to delete their account from Facebook.
Now the app is only launched for android phones but later it will be also for the iOS users.
