In India, the central government is preparing to apply the corona vaccine to every person. According to the Union Health Minister, Dr. Harsh Vardhan, by July 2021, the target is to have 20-25 crore people vaccinated. For this, there is a plan to get 40-50 crore doses of the vaccine.

Right now, two vaccines are underway in India. Both vaccines are in the second phase of clinical trials. One vaccine is being developed by Hyderabad-based Bharat Biotech and on the other vaccine, Zydus Cadila is working. If the trial runs properly then by next year this vaccine will be available in India.

During the election campaign, Donald Trump has said that the vaccine will be available in the US by November. Recently, he said that by April next year, enough vaccines will be available for the entire population of the country. Meanwhile, the results of phase 1 of the vaccine of American pharmaceutical company Moderna have come out positive. The company is making vaccines in collaboration with the US government.

AstraZeneca and Oxford University are working together on the corona virus vaccine. But recently, a person involved in the trial became ill after which the trial was stopped. He was resumed after stopping the trial for a week.

Germany’s BioNotech has tied up with New York-based Pfizer to make the vaccine. The company is working on a vaccine in which two doses will be given. Companies have said that if the trial is successful, then the approval of the government can be taken by the end of October. The company says that if the vaccine is successful, 1.3 billion vaccines will be ready by the end of next year.

On August 11, Russian President Vladimir Putin surprised everyone by declaring that Russia has become the first country to make a vaccine against the corona virus. The vaccine was named Sputnik-5 and was approved without a Phase III trial. Experts also criticized such a move.
