To help users create, post, and amplify branded content through Instagram, the company revealed the introduction of the Branded Content tag in Reels. Testing for the new feature will take place in the coming weeks.
According to Mashable, the latest feature will soon be introduced in order to improve openness and enable developers to reveal their backers. In addition to tools such as Live and IGTV Advertising badges, the Branded Content tag serves the same role.
Instagram’s official statement reads, “Until today, Branded Content ads could only be created by promoting the existing posts from creators. Instagram is now launching a new workflow where advertisers can create Branded Content ads without the need for creators to post organically on Instagram first.”
“Now brands have more flexibility with fewer constraints when they want to run Branded Content ads. This new process has been designed with creator control in mind – creators can approve and pause any ads published from their handle.,”
Mashable announced that advertised content advertising in articles will now have tappable functionality such as ‘@’ mention, locations, and hashtags. Instagram will soon add tools that enable companies to share branded posts with product tags. With the latest feature, marketers can derive more value from the content, allowing people to buy directly from the developers. Before now, branded content advertising could only be generated by endorsing existing messages from developers.
Recently, the Facebook-owned photo-sharing platform-announced a redesign of the home screen to keep Reels and Shop in view. There’s a dedicated Shop tab on the latest Instagram home page. It will also encourage companies to endorse advertised content messages with product tags.
Instagram has announced that it has set a minimum age for branded feed post tweets. Businesses and developers may set the default minimum age or the minimum age for particular countries, and they may choose to do so.
